Here are the ingredients for making a Modak -
Step 1: Preparing the Filling
After boiling a pan to medium temperature, add the coconut flesh.
Make the Jaggery Powder into the mixture, continuing to make until the jaggery melts and melts properly with the coconut. The mixture should be moist but thick.
For added flavor, sprinkle a pinch of cardamom powder.
Add the mixture from the heat and let it cool when it has been made and been well mixed.
Step 2: Preparing the Dough
Melt 1 cup of water in a pot until it boils.
Add 1 teaspoon of ghee and a pinch of salt into the boiling water.
Slow the heat and add the rice flour slowly slowly, mixing all the time to prevent lumps.
Adding continuously, the mixture should become a smooth dough. If needed, add a few drops of water to achieve the right consistency.
For 10 to 15 minute, cover the meal with a moist cloth and allow it to rest.
